Terms of Service
These pre-launch terms describe the current technical scope of TechBits. Commercial terms, governing law, legal entity details, and paid service conditions require final owner and counsel approval. Last updated September 1, 2026.
Diagnostic scope
TechBits performs bounded, read-only checks of publicly reachable web resources. Results are informational observations, not a complete security audit, accessibility certification, legal opinion, revenue forecast, or guarantee that a storefront issue exists or has been fixed.
Authorized use
Submit only stores and websites you are authorized to assess. Do not use TechBits to probe private networks, bypass access controls, overload a target, distribute malware, or collect data unlawfully. Automated use outside the provided product flows is prohibited.
Accounts and organizations
Keep account access secure and assign organization roles carefully. Organization admins control stores, invitations, members, and monitors for their tenant. Platform roles are separate operational privileges and do not transfer ownership of tenant content.
Availability and third parties
Diagnostics depend on the target storefront, network conditions, hosting, and database services. A failed or partial check may reflect those boundaries. Shopify OAuth, billing, and external remediation are not active merely because they are described as future capabilities.
Changes and launch approval
Product behavior and these pre-launch terms may change as the service is prepared for commercial use. Customer registration and paid access must remain closed until the final legal documents and launch checklist are approved by the responsible owner.
